I've never seen a governor spring that wasn't caged.
Not sure how to mod it for better power in the midrange.

ROR, have you ever driven an un-caged governor vw?
-Owen
never driven a CAR with a un caged gov. driven bigger things with them tho. the biggest reason im all for the caged governor, is because it comes stock in my pumps, and it is way easy to modify.
