Regarding the second one, I find that style of timing gauge adapter very frustrating. The lock locks up and you have to get in there with 2 pairs of pliers to loosen it off. It's not efficient.

any suggestion on which to buy, i don't wanna spend 90 dollars, but i want an actually set instead of half assing it like i have been doing for years

Half-assing it works just fine. Other then the dial indicator of course.
I emailed central tools about the kit they used to sell. I'm trying to see if I can talk them into selling it again. I have my doubts though...
