Finaly got pump running

I went down this morning to see if the T/D pump I finaly put back on after it set for about a year after I couldn't get to run at the time would start. I had it all done last night but wasn't ready for a dissapointment if it didn't fire after everything I did and it was too late at the time anyway. I turned on the lift pump and waited till the clear fuel line was flowing solid and cranked at WOT till I saw fuel at the injector connections and after tightening them it fired right off and runs and idles perfect finaly and best of all it doesn't leak anymore. The car has a lot more power than before and the boost will climb a lot higher and quicker too, I was really impressed with the difference this pump made and it has been a really good learning experiance from the help I got here. I didn't see a thing wrong when I took it back apart after it wouldn't start after it's rebuild but I think it was an air leak issue the whole time which I couldn't verify at the time because of the solid fuel line I had on it but it finaly runs like it should now thanks to all the information I recieved here. I guess an I/C is the next project for the little beast

It is a very good feeling to take a pump apart and put it back together again and have it work well.
It's amazing when I think back a year or so and remember I thought I knew a good bit about these little engines at that time and realize how much I have learned about them since being here and am still learning. Two years ago I wouldn't have even thought about taking a working pump apart, and placed it in the same category as "brain surgery" but now it's fun when you finaly know what else to look for. Thanks again for all your help in the past 2 years.
