Cold start shaft seal leaking!!
« on: October 13, 2009, 12:57:17 pm »
So the shaft/cover seal on the cold start lever is leaking like a bastard. Is it possible to change the seals on the cold start lever with the pump still in the car?
I know there isn't much room, but is it possible to remove with the pump still in the car? Or does the rest of the pump have to be torn down first?

TTtuning sells them also. The gauge is small enough to clear everything when installed.
Around $100.

i would really rather get a nice small 1.25" face gauge like the ones i have up in alaska. those were awesome. would clear anything. i think they were blue point (snap on) gauges. and im not down with the gauges that have the ghetto magnetic stands and if you sneeze on them they are inaccurate. probably just going to have to bite the bullet and buy a nice one.
