best brand of fuel filter
« on: October 08, 2009, 08:05:31 am »
I have lost my prime again and was wondering what is the prefered brand of fuel filter?  The filter on the 1985 Jetta now doesn't have a name on it. The only printing I saw was "Made in Isreal 12977". It has the water drain on the bottom middle.

I use napa filters.
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

I'm rather fond of WIX filters, but have had good luck with Bosch as well. :)
