motor tranny swap

i got another motor and tranny yester day. i was gonna put in both motor and tranny but there is nothing wrong with my currant tranny or clutch. so i was wondering is there enough room in the motor bay to remove just the motor and leave the tranny or is it gonna be easyer to remove both tranny and motor?

its entirely too easy to just drop it as a unit. or in your case, pull it as a unit. rather than separate both and try and maneuver them around and out of the engine bay. it is entirely possible to pull either piece separately, but its just not as easy.
