I'm just running a manual bleeder valve, seems to work just fine. I have mine set about 15 PSI.

i have the blow off valve on the intake , and the waste gate both blocked shut .
to control the boost i adjusted the starwheel till my peak boost pressure was in the 20 -22 psi range .
after i had done this smoke was reduced significantly , millage went up ..... power and acceleration are obviously way up from the 15 to 18 psi level i was at before . ( previously i had the waste gate crack open ever so slightly around 16 - 17 psi ) .

I use the right foot my Mum and Dad made
Blocked off wastegate and blow off valve also and I get 21psi at top end, 15psi midrange and regulate the rest with my foot.

Well I kinda want it for when Im on a long grade so that if my egt's get too high I can dial back the boost a bit.

On my way to town here on a long uphill that I need to drop to 4th for I find that even with everything blocked off all I need to do is pull my foot back a little on throttle and drop it from max boost to around 15psi and the EGT's sit fine. And I am not yet running an intercooler. Just run full boost, control it with fuelling and your right foot.
Remember boost doesn't mean EGT's with a diesel, it's fuel.

Yep, 15psi in 5th gear with your foot flat to the floor going up a long hill at say 3500rpm will create more heat than 15psi in 4th gear at 4000rpm with foot lifted slightly in my experience.
