All good points thanks!I'll drop the v-belts and see what happens.I do have to change the T-belt again. I got about 55,000 on it.When I changed it last I got a new OEM tensioner. I heard something from someone about buying a belt that is rated to last longer.This was for an A3... Anybody, know if a belt for the 1.6L can be purchased thatlast longer than 60,000 miles? I have a noisy injection pump...It seems pretty clear to me where it is coming from...Initially, thought it was the water pump bearing....now It seems to be coming from the injection pump.right near the pully..... Is this a bearing.. bushing....Anyway, what is the R & R on a worn Injection pump bearing.....Is this something that can be done when I do the belt...Monst
