oh this day has been crap

I had a Merc driver shunt me earlier ! Long story short, we were at a round-about, I stalled as I was pulling off and he obviously wasn't watching me and ploughed into me - pushing me out into a normally busy round-about luckily there were no on-coming cars.

I'm really really annoyed now (earlier if anyone looked at me wrong I bit their head off) but his insurance has already contacted me and he has claimed fault. They're getting their closest repairers out to me as soon as possible, although I may opt for a VW certified repairer (I'm legally able to do so, and legally able to get the car repaired no matter the cost as it was his fault and he has said so).

Man, glad you and the car are not seriously damages !! Glad he stood up to the plate and took the responsibility. Looks like you can keep your ride after its fixed. I've been re-ended so many times. Most where in a vehicle with a large trailer hitch and this took the impact so I didn't have damage - only the guy behind me. But, I see the Merc was too high to wack your hitch.

If it was my 4x4Frontera his car would be buggered. I've got a tow bar on it and the bumpers are 2mm steel
