My MK3 Build

So I started working on the MK3 today and I tore out the whole interior. So here is the list of Pros and Cons. Its a 97 Golf GL 4Door with a 1.9 AAZ with K03 Turbo on it.
Cons -
Back of the Driver Side floor pan is gone.
Rocker panel on Driver side holed
Passenger Side of the Floor pans got some holes in it.
Oil leaking from the valve cover
motors got 368,000km on it, Never opened
Turbo shaft is loose
Exhaust...what exhaust?
ONLY 2 OUT OF 6 SPEAKERS WORK
Power locks don't work
Cruise control still doesn't work
And a rock smashed my windshield
Rear Coils are broke
Power Steering is rought

Pros-
Its got a Moonroof :lol:
New Clutch
New Altenator

So I got a little work ahead of me to get this thing back on the road for the end of may. I got a another AAZ Parts car coming in just like mine...well its my old 96 that I converted :lol: got it back cheap.

This should be fun  :lol:

Show Car lol. I'll have the floor patched and car preped for paint in 3 days...3 very very long days :shock:

Let's simplify this list...

Back of the Driver Side floor pan is gone.  -- Duct Tape
Rocker panel on Driver side holed -- More Duct Tape
Passenger Side of the Floor pans got some holes in it. -- Lots more duct tape
Oil leaking from the valve cover -- Keep Extra oil in the tunk an enjoy a lack of mosquitos
Exhaust...what exhaust? -- And??
ONLY 2 OUT OF 6 SPEAKERS WORK -- See exhaust
Power locks don't work  -- Get rid of the doors
Cruise control still doesn't work -- Keep it floored, constantly
And a rock smashed my windshield -- It's getting warmer, and the oil burning off will help keep the bugs outta your teeth
Power Steering is rought -- You won't need it with the workout from unroling 12 rolls of duct tape..

ROFL Thats what my dad suggested...And some bondo for looks :lol:
My gf was trying to figure ou why I was laughing so hard  :lol:

HAHAHA you`r a genius maxfax.

You only need 2 things... if something that shoud be stuck isn`t = Duct Tape. If something is stuck that shoudnt be = WD40

duck tape is illegal to use as a substitute for a floor here...something that its a uni body lol :lol: But who says duck tape bondo and rockguard lol

Hey, that's not so bad really.
I bet you can really fix it all in the 3 days time you mentioned.
And believe me, it's going to be fun!
Besides, the end result at least will be well worth it  8)

I;ve got an old left over from an old build that i'm going to use as a floor. and I'm a Pro at bodywork 8) I can take a truck with no rockers and in 4 hours have rocker panels on there...(spray foam, bondo, and rockguard) 3 years and still holding up

my floor was so spotty and weak i just layed down some fiberglass. works great (forawhile)

I pop riveted some roofing sheet metal with some caulking to the bottom of my old car, kept the water and air out, but I had to remember not to stand on the floor or I would put my foot right through it.

I travel alot so i need it to be solid, if it wasn't for that it would be couple stop signs riveted to the floor lol
