Upgrades Question???

I'm planning a number of upgrades for this up coming year for my 1.9 IDI - and the first one being a intercooler. The next one I was thinking of doing was the Rover 220D boost pin swap. Problem is were do I find such a pin and what am I looking at money wise to get one? I've read numerous articles regarding this but in a nut shell what else would I need when doing this swap??
I'm also looking at reducing my highway RPM's so I'm thinking of swapping my 5th for a 0.71 or 0.75 gear, but I'm wondering what the jump would be between 4th and 5th and how soon it'll wear thin having to downshift all the time if that indeed would be the case. Which would be better suited the 0.71 or 0.75??

buy an old altitude comp. pump and grind the pin down ,as they come qwith a very subtle slope.
