History:

I bought a block off a friend for $50 because it came with a working alternator. I have no use for the block. He bought a 85 Jetta coupe and is switching from diesel to VR6. When he bought the car the head had been removed in preperation for a 1.9 TD head transplant with related turbo goodies. The car was previously owned by an old lady who never drove the car in the winter. I looked at his car, it literally only has 1 dime sized spot of rust on the rear lip. Everything he was told about the car was honest, so he has no reason to doubt that the motor is good. It's dirty inside because it was just sitting around. It does turn over

Anyways it's $10 and that includes the oil pan, rear motor mount and maybe the flywheel and clutch.
