WHAT DID I FORGET?

So I just swapped my bad ip for another pump, and alas seem stuck. I primed the pump with atf and cranked the engine a little and rechecked the return line and diesel was sitting in the pump (full). So it would seem the rotary portion of this pump is fine, however during the same time with all four injector lines cracked I am getting NO fuel at the injectors. It would seem dry. Here is my dilemna did I forget something? Does it just take a very long time to get fuel from the pump to the injectors, or if my battery is worn with a low charge is it possible the engine is just not spinning fast enough to start? I am at wits end!!! I really liked this car while it was working...

Did the wire for the fuel stop solenoid get re-attached? Does it sound like it's trying to fire, or is it just spinning without so much as a sputter?

I did hook up the fuel stop solenoid and there is an audible click so it should be functioning...as far as trying to start I actually don't know because the injector lines are all cracked. and there is no visible fuel flow at the injector tube/injector connection.

were did you get your pump from. Are you sure that it's a good pump? I have 3 pumps that all turn fine but no diesel will go to the injectors. Just because it's turning doesn't mean its good. Also did you insure that you put the inlet and outlet fittings back on in the correct locations. The pump wont build correct pressure if the fittings are in the wrong location.

Yes this pump is good, after taking another look though the 12 v connection to the shutdown solenoid was spliced maybe that has something to do with it...

Have the throttle adjustments been fooled with? I just went through a 1.6 pump and realized I had to turn the throttle quite a way's to get it to idle, if lever was returned to the idle stop it would shut down ( I had to reset the lever on the shaft which can be a pita). try starting it under throttle if you have not done so yet.
Are you sure you filled the pump up through the return all the way to top, and sucked fuel right to inlet?
