Cummins old smoky POWER boost control pin

ok I may have posted something about boost pins this week already...

Would this pin:

a) fit in my AAZ pump

b) make more hp??

yes it will fit ......

but why spend that kind of money when you can grind your own .

most of the cummins guys with ve pumps  have ground their own pins .

i also had a white spring under the diaphram  ... found a greenish blue spring that was softer that works much better .


something to watch out for , any of the bully dog fuel pins are NOT hardened ,  and possibly the ones off of ebay may not be hardened either , meaning they may out rather quickly  , where a hardened one would never wear out
1990 jetta , tweaked pump , tweaked turbo , ported head  2.5inch exhaust .

1993 dodge w250 , diesel ... removing the dead moose parts .
