I searched but couldn't find much on this. If it is on here sorry for the post, but can you put a 1.9 head on a 1.6 TD block? If so what if any are the benefits?

I don't know much on this but the Trev0r guy does, keep searching for english posts in the idi forum about the 1.9 head with that guys name in the author section and you will see a bunch of topics that discuss this. Here is one I found that might help you.

it bolts right on but you need the right valve cover and intake manifold, the exhaust and injectors and glow plugs are the same. the benefits are lower compression and much better flowing head.
