For those of you experts:
I just rebuilt the 6cyl vw out of a volvo (d24t) and had it running great, finally got the timing right. However, it is now smoking alot a bluish white smoke. Upon investigation, I removed the intake and there is oil dripping out of the compressor side of the housing. There is also a significant amount of front to back (axial?) shaft play on the turbo shaft. Probably at least 1/8" movement.
Does this sound like rebuild time?
