hey,
i just got a pyrometer and was just wondering if i should install it pre-turbine or post-turbine and what is a safe range for the temps to be in.
thanks for any help in advance

Ideally, it should be pre-turbine. That way it sees the same temperature that's going into the turbine section. Max safe temp is really related to the individual turbo, but about 1300F/700C should be safe, IIRC (you'll want to make sure, though).
