no start cold

Wont start colc,read on the forum that full synthetic helps starting on a 275,000 mi eng, changed it today, find out in the morn , any coments?
89 jetta oil burner,71 bronco, 95 power stroke

repl glow plugs first they were good  changed the oil ,went to royal purple 10-40, startedgood @28*

after  trying another start, following a 20 sec run later it would not start again,time to change the motor out

already done the deed , its my econo daily driver ,cant mess around ,gonna keep it though ,may put it on a motorcycle frame

timing of the postingwas off, the newer eng has 1/3 the miles and runs lots betterand was fairly easy thx ,Tim
