1.5 head or 1.6 engine

Hi I have just found out that the head for my 1978 1.5 IDI is dead and cannot be resurrected so do I get a bare head for $A875 or put in the used 1.6 turbo engine with 5 speed gearbox?  I have no idea what condition either  engine is in as I have not had the car or the 1.6 engine very long.  I am a learning amateur mechanic with good skills but little knowledge

If you like i have some good 1.5 heads and willing to trade and some cash for your 1.6 TD core motor ? I need a TD head for my caddy my injector boss is broken! still runs but will need to be replaced soon!
