hatch and estate 5th gear?

my hatch seemed to rev lower on motorway driving as opposed to my estate does both are aaz 1.9 golfs any ideas on differences or is it just me been silly lol

could have different trannys, check the tranny cold on the very bottom bell housing area of the tranny
