my '94 daily driver - AAZ with intercooler, 1.6 boost pin, and soon to have a 2.5" mandrel bent turbo-back system.

sits on koni sport springs (-40mm front and rear) and koni red front, adjustable koni yellow rear. also running 280mm SEAT cupra 16V Gti disks/calipers/hubs on the front, and will soon use a VR6 rear beam with anti roll bars and the wider track for some more rear "poke".

needless to say, if this car doesnt have it all in the straight, it makes up for it all on the twisties!

and my project mk1 LS 1977  - soon to be converted to 1.6TD with k14 to start off with, maybe go to t3 - i'll see what its like. Waiting on head to come back from the shop...

Finally, my old 1979 GLD 1.5n/a - this was my first car, and went through many changes - started out as a rusty heap. It was carribean green for a while, here it is at its pinnacle -

and after that, it was blue for a couple of years....there it is in the middle...:-)

i dearly, dealry miss this car... sadly it fell to the rust demons.... i fell like weeping...

'91 Golf Cabrio 1.9TD
'94 Golf TD - AAZ, 2.5" Mandrel DP and exhaust, Merc T3 1.6TD boost pin, FMIC, Koni suspension, VR6 Brakes, VR6 Seats, VR6 sway-bars - sadly missed
'07 SKODA Octavia 1.9 TDI PD - Remapped ECU

http://gallery.andersonmotorsport.com/album03/IMG_4512  This should show a photo of an 86 Audi 5000 Turbo Quattro. There is a 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine in there. Could someone let me know what else I need to do. Putting the BBCode img brackets didn't help. http://www.motorgeek.com/phpBB2/gallery2.php/main.php?g2_itemId=68964

First post! I usually lurk around here looking for tips to work on my Golf.

This is my Golf GLD. Runs on biodiesel. Hands down my favourite car ever. It'll be thirty years old next year!

I wish we had those GTD's in Australia. The 1.5 in the GLD is kinda primitive - still great though. Cheers!

finaly it is out on the road again...

made 411.000 km with first Engine, Tranny, Clutch, Turbo:

Some Pump-testing:

Terminal W signal at idle:

Nearly ready for mounting:

Here some Data:
Block: 1Y
Pistons, Head: AAZ
Crank, Con-Rods, Clutch (228mm), Flywheel: 1Z
Turbo: Garrett T2 from the old 1,6TD -> have a T3 to be mounted
Tranny: FHN 220km/h @ 4500RPM from a 130HP PD-TDI
Compression-Ratio down to 20,5:1

Pump:
Main Housing: Citroen XM 2,1TD (20mm Shaft)
Plunger: Hyundai Galloper 10mm
LDA: 1,6TD
Nozzles: DN0SD297 @ 175 Bar

Goodies:
140A Generator with added Terminal W for the rev counter
Original Rev counter (rare for Diesel-Engine)

nearly smoke-free, runs about 200km/h on the "Autobahn" and feels like
250Nm/110HP with 1Bar Boost. Burning Tires in 2. Gear is no Problem, and so isn't milage 1000km with 60l SVO :)

next to do ist some Paintjob: orange an "toneless matt tarblack"

.. and T3-Turbo with bigger IC to run 1,5 Bar: burning more tires and even more SVO/WVO ;))
Audi 80 1,6TD:

Well after feeling the pinch when i got rid of the gtd i thought i should keep my eyes open for another td. This time up came a 96 mk3 td with 110k on ebay and ended up being just down the rd. Ity was a real poopter, but to cut a long story short i gave the guy £170 as i thought atleast the engine is good.
I drove the car back to mine, I ran the gauntlet if u know what i mean  But on the way, i get a flat, so kept on going as i didn't want to hang around and also had the bonnet fly up and smash the screen
So i get back to mine and whats the first thing i do...........Get some coilovers on there  Anyway after a bit of work and a load of bits i had anyway it now looks like this.

Some might say thats sacrilage

Also managed to get hold of a T3 B) It needs a rebuild for sure but i'll stick it in the steam cleaner at work and crack it open to see how bad it is, cheers rich
Really pleased with the way its turned out for such little outlay
