This will be the 1st winter im putting my diesel cabriolet away in the garage. Its getting colder and colder....
What steps should i take to keep the fuel from gelling up over the few months its going to be sitting?
When it was gas, it fill it up with a full tank an toss some STABIL in there. Should i do the same with some of the diesel911? Thanks!

I'd leave it, it's only going to be a few months.
Also this question belongs in the general category....

i park mine, hook up a battery tender... when taken out in spring do oil change.. check everything over.. mine is in heated garage..
diesel so much better then gas as you can just park it.. and years down the road fire it right back up..

Diesel has a shelf life of 3-6 months, much like gasoline. It just so helps diesels will run on anything that burns without to much short term issue.
I pulled a car out of a barn last year, and it sat for 6 years. Still had a half tank when we pulled it out! Filled up the tires, checked fluids (barely ok..) and drove it home! lol

For my Caddy, I always fill the tanlk and add a good helping of conditioner. Then I just remove the battery and wait for spring.

my GTI sat for about 12-13 years also. had a half tank of fuel in it when i got it, thought for sure it was gonna be extremely varnished..
car fired right up and ran fine until i put more gas in it..

Awesome!
I put a bottle of diesel 911 in the tank and a few gallons of "winterized" diesel.
Battery is out, but not holding charge... Orderedreplacement from 3 year warranty, advanced auto dude hooked me up. Its a ford powerstroke 850 cca battery for $120... New one is free and ill still retain the 3 year warranty.
Stoked on that.
