Looking for the #1 cylinder - Troubleshooting - VWDiesel.net The IDI, TDI, and mTDI source.

• Alright, I have read through my manual a few times and just cant find which clyinder is #1 in the fireing order.
  
  Is it the timeing belt side or the bell housing side?

• #1 is on the timing belt end of the engine.
