ok guys shims can be bought in quanities! Thanks to "saurkraut" he found a reputal source for them! the catch is the more we buy the cheaper they are a piece! so saurkraut is going to post the different price ranges after this entry!
the 40 piece of each size looks to be the best bargan? or there is the corporate discount range? saurkraut will handel the ordering and i will handel the distrabution of everyones orders! i think some will come mixed up and will need to be measured and sorted? so lets see if this works well and i think we an get other products also? but first the shims! to get at the 40pc.with more people we can even split it to smaller to a 5count per person witch will be around 70bucks per person for 120 shims! we will let this add run for a while? send me a P.M. of your address and phonee# so i have shipping info. on who is ordering! Thanks and i'll will return mine!
post your intrest!
and we are start taking orders!
thanks Duane

So here is the basic numbers, we just need to get a head count of who wants how many, and I'll go back to them and get the final price, figure out the shipping, and get er done. I'm not planning on making any profit, I just want to cover our costs:
The shim set is as follows:
starts at 0.80mm and goes up to 1.95mm (24 sizes) in increments of 0.05mm IE: 0.80, 0.85, 0.90. For adjusting less than 0.05mm, it is permitted to lap the shim to size. By doing this extra step you can achieve better than new injector set balancing!
To answer your question of course the bulk price gets better the more your group buys. Normal price for a set of four each size (96 piece set, guarantees enough for 2 cars) is $78.72 ($0.82 ea.)
10 each size (240 piece set) is $165.60 ($0.69 ea.)
The best discount comes out to 40 pieces of each size (960 pieces total for $0.59 each.) Total cost = $556.40 plus insured shipping inside the USA.
For orders more than that, busy diesel shops, more than 2000-2500 pieces per month begins a corporate account.

If we do the ordering on this next month or late this month, once I've gotten a steady income coming in again (got to get back in rhythm at work), I'd be down for a 10/each set.
Otherwise, I'll just chip in for a 4/each set.

We get one more for a 10/each set and we can get one of those cheaper options.
I like where this is going!

Are the shims for the 1.9 AAZ nozzles the same as the 1.6? If they are, let me know as I'll be down for the 4 each set

starrd im assumin they are? but i don't have a AAZ yet! someone may chime in? does somebody have a injector apart that can post O.D. and I.D. of a AAZ injector shim?
actually starrd you would get a 5count of 24 pieces=120 shims for around 70bucks + ship thats more than enough shims for several cars? I'll have the exact amount when we place the order!
in the mean time P.M. me your address and phone # so i have that info on hand! and i will send you back mine for sake! and i will also add you name to the list above and the size of order! watch the first post for changes and updates!
thanks Duane

Nope... AAZ injectors have two springs and two shims... one smaller and one bigger than the MF-type.

So these are for the 1.6. Can we see if the same deal can be had for the 1.9's?

what are the O.D. and I.D. of the two different shims? i know that some GM shims are the same size as VW! i got some in on my injector buying venture and even some of the vw injectors came with different I.D. but the same O.D. shims the I.D. is not critical as long as thier was a hole there! but the O.D. could not be bigger than 11.5mm! otherwise it would not fit into the body
