• Does anyone have the gear ratios for the 93 Jetta with the stock 5 speed and  the AAZ engine? Since my Jetta doesn't have a tach, if I had the gear ratios I could do a little calculation and I'd be able to figure out how many rpm's the engine is turning at any given speed for each gear.

  There are different trannys used, climb under the front of the car and look on the bellhousing for the code

• Found it. The tag says CHD07082. So I guess that means I have the 3.67 final drive.
