Looking for a set of stock front springs for a 95 Golf. I think AAZ, ABA and the cl engine all have the same springs. I need these ASAP (like this week) so Ontarians only. I need to get the car into safety and that cracked coil is not going to cut it
raging_freestyler [at] hotmail.com or IM, I check the site daily
I have lots of 1.6 TD/NA shizzle so trades are always prefered

apperntly they are the same as mk2 ones, up to 95.5 or something like that. Anyone know how I can tell?

They are all interchangable
The way to tell is by the Strut Bearing
If the car is newer than 96 then it has "Plus" Suspension the strut bearings look like the VR6 ones. They also DO NOT look like the MK2 ones.
If the Car is older than 95 then the strut bearings should look like that of the MK2's.
MK2 Suspension is swappable into the MK3 chassies. If you have the Plus suspension you need to convert the bearings to the MK2 ones.
And Vise Versa If you wanted to upgrade a non Plus suspension car to the Plus suspension you would need the Newer bearings, and springs.
The Varation in between the 93 (MK2 and MK3) and the 96 forward (MK3 Plus suspension) lies in the upper spring coil being slightly smaller than the MK2 and late MK3 springs.
