Or at least a block that already has the oil jets and notched pistons. To be transplanted into a Dasher diesel, in place of a "seized" 1.5. Not sure what the real problem is, but the seller said it won't turn over.
I'd prefer a complete engine, but as always if the price is right I'll take one that's in pieces and needs rebuilding. I can trade or buy, either way works for me. My most lucrative asset for trade is that Audi two liter 5-banger diesel, plus its 5-speed manual 5k transmission, but maybe I have something else people would be interested in.
I'm in the Southeastern US, and I'm pretty willing to travel to pick stuff up; obviously, Eastern Coast is most likely for me to actually be able to come pick it up. Shipping is a last resort, as it should be.
I've found a couple at some salvage yards that *might* be good prospects, but I'd much rather give money to another person who appreciates these diesels than a business just in it for the money.
I might be buying a Quantum TD sedan that has 200k miles and a bad injection pump and only taking the tranny out of it and then selling the rest
Would you be interested in the engine?
If so, make an offer and I'll let you know if I end up getting it

Perhaps, but to be cost effective that would either need to be some cheap shipping or a really cheap engine; we are on opposite ends of the country, after all.
