i shouldnt have any problems fitting this to my eco pump, right?
read some old posts as others have tried it too.
it's complete with the pin!
i got it from that diesel shop on ebay that's closing doors, and for the sum of £1.

there is something else to do, giles mentioned it before, i didn't read into it very much, you can't just bolt it on, but you also have to remember that the ecodiesels have a smaller plunger as well.
Hi Trev0rbr,
cheers for the reply, ive been diging around on the site and found that people have swapped em over - i havent found a post that went into great detail-YET!, maybe its a simple swap - i'm sure there will be a post with some details. i will keep digging for now.
the lid is coming off later so either way i'm going to find out , i will post my results in a few days!

Hi all,
hi libbybapa, i just finished the swap over and reading all the prev posts that relate to the Gov mods and general pump stripping, i can say they really helped and i can see why people have problems with the settings afterwards, but i remembered to mark everything so it went ok, the throttle springs were for me the hardest to reinstall.
the swap out, lucky enough i have a genuine lda pump to use as reference
so i popped the lid off that first and studied it for a while and then popped the lid off the eco pump and found no differences between the two, so i knew the lda head would mate up to the eco pump, i stripped the parts off the eco head and reasembled it, all seemed rather straight forward.
the pump going to need setting up/tuning and when i compaired the spring tention(pin/plunger) on the eco pump head now lda with the lda of the geniune td pump they were totally opposite ends of the scale, otherwise it seems fine, i tried to make all the other setting as i found them before the swap, i.e throttle stop position and so on.
eco before eco during now lda bothso feeling happy now, productive few hours for once.
