• Hi everybody. I'm will probably swap a 1.9 TD in my mk2 jetta (1.6 TD). And i wanted to know how much power you can get with a very godd setup. As anybody put is car on a Dyno. If so, can i know what results you got, and with what modification.

• I have put a 1.9 TD AAZ into a mk1 golf,fitted the 1.6 TD garrett T3 turbo,altered the aneroid pin,used a 2.5 inch stainless exhaust with 1 silencer at the rear,AND IT ABSOLUTLEY FLIES,im welll happy with it,no smoke under full load,and its currently got no intercooler,im having it dyno tested in the spring when i dig it out to play,will post results.

• Hi,the boost comes in at about 2400 rpm,and its like a different car,the acceleration in 5th is amazing,its as strong in 3rd,im really impressed with it,im hoping an intercooler will help more,TBA.............

• its a garrett T3 off a mk2 golf 1.6 TD it boosts about 2400 rpm,and its good fun  :wink:

• thats the same turbo i have!!?!?! i knw mines a garrett, but is its a T3?  what was stock on a 1.6LTD?

• that is the identical that came on the older mk2 vw later on for some reason the changed to k24.yes your is a T3
