im looking for a complete 1.6td engine in Washington...im in bonney lake but willing to drive. id like it to be a runner in pretty good condition. please help i need my rabbit back on the road! thanks

Well, they're out there but really tough to find. Most I see are in Quantums which don't have the correct manifolds. You'd probably be better off driving across the border in search of one.
There are still quite a few in Canada. I have purchased three jettas for $1000. A 86, 91,92 all in decent shape. I strippes two of them and made one good one. Not ready to sell anything yet. Canada is your best bet for 1.6TD. You might have to buy a whole car, it seems to be cheaper that way.
