I installed it in my 11mm M-tdi pump...made a big difference. I actually leaned out the fueling screw so the engine runs with much less smoke under light boost conditions but when it gets on boost it still makes 23psi boost and clean. All the powr is still there, just a cleaner running engine now, which is good all around. I'm using a 11mm fiat pump, stock LT injectors..not the big ones. Just need to address the governor issue as it's killing power above 4k.
the boost pin...the offset is much greater and the profile is pretty steep. A nice addition. I have pics if anyone wants to host...thanks

i made a "race " pin
i had a spare and i attacked it with a dremel,then polished the area where the pin in the pump travels on it
actually,after i saw a bully dog one,i noticed mine looks a little more towards radical than theirs
now i just leave it in all the time
mine seems to fall flat around 4400 or so
i tried the gov mod,but no matter what i tried,the revs would hang if i revved it over 3000,so i set it back to stock
i bet i had the top off my pump 50 times tryin stuff.......
the only thing that I really notice that's really different with this performance pin is the pin's offset...where it starts to come down is scewed way over to one side. The profile is a little more agressive but not crazy. It would be next to impossible to get the factory pin that far over...that's why when I installed I had to lean out the fuel screw. I also dumped the plastic washer...the my friend said I could throw it away.
I have a 1.9AAZ pump and I looked at that pin...it actually looks like it would have the most potential because the thing is so flat....I bet you could put a serious profile on that pin.

The governor mod...didn't work for you?
I was wondering if lightening the flyweights on the actual governor would that increase fueling at higher rpm. I definitely need to do something...
I can get my tdi to 90 very quickly after that it runs out of fuel and to go from 90-100 seems to take a long time. I think with the tdi tranny, 90mph is a little over 3k..so that's when the governor starts slamming in. I defnitely want to fix this becuase I have to short shift to keep stay on the fuel. My pump I believe is from a fiat truck so I'm sure the governor is set lower than a vw engine.
