• I can't seem to find a new or used brake fluid reservoir for my MK2 Jetta. The original reservoir is basically rectangular in shape; about 2 x 3 x 4 inches with the float equipped cap.
  
  I've searched the forums, local parts shops, Ebay and Craigs List. No luck.
  
  Is there any way to substitute a different master cylinder and reservoir to my brake system???
  
  My parts guy pulled one up that is sort of round shaped??? We are going to take a look at it tomorrow.
  
  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  My local parts guy showed me the same reservoir for half the cost. Bartosh Import Parts in Vancouver, WA.

  " New round reservoir also has an extra nipple that is sealed and not used"
  That nipple butts up against the coolant overflow bottle somewhat.
  
  Cardone has something that I am looking into and will report back.

• My 1992 Cabriolet had the round style reservoir. It worked exactly the same as the rectangular one on my mk2
