I'm thinking about selling my 92 jetta TD.

http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v225/vwpics/?action=view¤t=111_1138.flv-Body is solid. 3 small surface rust bubbles.
-New windshield, no rust around it
-autocross suspension-- bilstein rallye group 1 shocks, rear coilovers
-VR6 strut bearings
-very strong supplemental rear swaybar
-heim joint (spherical bearing) and bronze bushing shift linkage
(I guarantee you've never felt a shift system like this!)
-front upper strut brace
-battery relocated to trunk
-Ecode headlights
-2.5" techtonics exhaust 3rd gen downpipe
-rear discs/EBC green pads
-dual manual proportioning valves behind driver seat
(controls brake pressure to each rear disc)
-New front rotors, Hawk high performance brake pads
(Amazing stopping power)
-22mm master cyl
-braided stainless steel flex hoses (6)
-5mm wheel spacers at each corner
-power windows, power steering, sunroof, central locks
-rolling on 14" hubcapped wheels with new Michelin Hydro Edge tires
(I was amazed at how good they actually are in the wet. Handle great in the dry. And I DO mean handle)
-half decent sony cd player
-class II hitch. good for hauling race tires and equipment out to the track.
1.9L AAZ engine, fresh out of Andy2's shop for the TDI crank sprocket update, recent timing belt. Starts and runs great. 208k on the engine.
handles like on rails, was consistantly within 1.5 seconds of 1st place in autocross w/ 1.6L TD and open diff. This higher torque engine would bring it into the top 5.
I'd like $3995 cdn for it.
reason for selling:
I'm trying to improve my chances of finishing off old projects by reducing distractions. Anyway, it's available for viewing any time, and I'd be happy to take you for a test drive. If you're prone to motion sickness, let me know in advance. There's a very fun hillclimb road nearby that demonstrates this car's abilities most excellently.
The car doesn't smoke this bad, I turned up the fuel just to make sure the competition knew they were getting killed by a diesel!!
