i am looking for small sizes of high temp paint.. non spray.. serious quarts is too much...
it gets hot enough that you cannot touch it... so i know normals will just burn..
it is rusty ugly from sitting in a shed... but no leaks and works nice... testing it out...
i wanna use my air brush to perty up a indoor keyrosine heater... but i wanna do a "real flame" paint job on it.. and need some yellows, golds and such... been a good 6 years since ive used my air brush kit.. long time since i painted rc stuff.. but i think it needs a real flame paint job.. just to piss off turkey day guests...
Got a PPG dealer near you by any chance?
PITTSBURGH, July 2, 2012 – PPG Industries’ (NYSE:PPG) protective and marine coatings business (PMC) has signed a global distribution agreement with Hi-Temp Coatings Technology Co. for select HI-TEMP(R) branded products. Hi-Temp Coatings Technology manufactures industry-leading coatings that withstand extreme temperatures to protect both carbon steel and stainless steel substrates in stacks, piping, boilers and similar equipment.
Might be able to get some pints of the different colors you are looking for. Maybe since this is tied to industrial stuff it only comes in 55 gallon drums.
I would just use rustoleum. It has held up on my engine block pretty well for like 5 years.

I know this is old but McMaster does have it on their website in quarts, kind of expensive though.

engine block only gets a couple hundred degrees tho, not 5-800 like a Kero heater..
Not sure what you are talking about here. You did notice the date on the thread is very old?
