go right ahead and beleive that.... you do not listen... so ill not explain... just take one apart and actually see what you doing...
BrokeVW does explain the workings of the flanges, the washers and the changes made to the diff when you install the washers or have the springs in place. VW didn't set out to make the LSD it just functions that way if I read what he had there in a proper manner.
Not sure what I will do with the information. Might need more study and an afternoon under the car to poke around with it.
