I'm a full time volunteer with 2 different Christian organizations and then I sell VW parts on the side to support myself. I also work at a dog food recycling plant 1 or 2 days a week. I kind of farm as well, but that's mainly a hobby (for now)

I'm an estate gardener. I look after a few acres near silicon valley. I love it. My caddy was my work vehicle but I had to replace it with a new tacoma, it was requiring too much maintenance in too little time.

Aircraft mechanic, currently work on a few beechjets and a hawker 1000, hoping to end up in a heavy maintenance facility for an airline or freight company.

Cool deal guys. To BYM, I used to be a youth pastor from 2002-2008. Loved it. I got paid but you could say it was volunteer as it was very little pay and most went back into the youth at the church.
Libby, I would have never guessed. I applaud you as I love my kids but run out of patience and have to go work on VW's after a while.

naaaaaaa rember when you were a kid... your dad says but son it will be fun.. you will enjoy it.. say push mowing lawn... i now know how his stuff so clean/perty... the preschoolers get tooth brushes to clean parts as "its fun you will see"

Wow aviation is strong with this group. I just recently picked up a job at our local county airport as a "Flight Line Technician". Basically I pump gas and maintain the fuel trucks. Not a bad gig at all if it paid anything
But that's only to support my REAL job which is working at a local church doing youth ministry and counseling. Although I find myself doing alot of counseling and teaching at the airport too
haha.
Cool to hear of others who have shared both of my professions!
