I saw that last night too - couldn't believe how high and far it flew.
all i knew is they joked bout saftey w/bike tire... i doubt they expected that... w/car tire... im a lucky one who toured goodyear tire testing facility... 4 job interview many years ago (did not get it) cause it was so cool a tour i pissed guy off doing interview.. should see the walls from tire explosions in the one room... 3" deep dents in concrete walls...
That's something I learned about in college. Many people have died from over inflating tires.
My buddy's tire shop had some fellas trying to seat a bead. It's fairly common to light-off some acetylene in the carcass to pop the bead on.... The cage wasn't properly closed and the wheel took half of a guy's face off.
ex girlfriend I had, eventually married to someone else was working for MTS in town. Putting a tractor tire on. No cage. I was a closed casket funeral.
