Stuck injector

Anyone ever have this problem? Stripping the head down for a rebuild, I got two injectors out, one is being a little stubborn and one I can't budge AT ALL. Soaked it in pb blaster overnight... nothing. Soaked it in ATF the next night... nothing. Open-end wrench and a hammer... nothing. It's in my freezer right now, for lack of a better idea. Any help?

Heat it up with a torch, I use two propane ones, then throw some penetrating oil on it while it's still warm, let it sit overnight, heat it up again and unscrew. Careful not to put any angled pressure on the injectors as you risk cracking the head.

This is the TDI forum. The injectors are not threaded in, they are held in with a little clamp. Don't bother heating. This is what I use:
I bought a nut that was the thread of the injector union, a coupler nut and a jam nut the thread of the slide hammer I already had. I welded the injector nut to the coupler nut. Less than $10 and 2 minutes with the welder. It works VERY well EVERY time.

probably #3 isn't it? I like the slide hammer idea. I know 2 different guys that had to beat it out and ruin the nozzle as they had no idea how to get it out otherwise. And it didn't come out easily that way.

I've pulled injectors in seconds that were totally encased in carbon from a leaky copper washer.

ive made slide hammer piece... only works when you got head bolted down to something... but works well...

ive made slide hammer piece... only works when you got head bolted down to something... but works well...
I've used it several times with the head on the bench without issue.

Looks to be like a 3lb weight.. noway it would pull the head around liek a rag hha.

Injector slide hammers are a standard tool in the TDI realm....Hammering the injector out and destroying the nozzle? What a hack.
FWIW the injector line thread is 14 X 1.5

Yep, I've seen this happen before as well.
And to confirm, it is m14x1.5
