• I looked and searched and could not find a different answer to how to postion the new rubber engine mount in the bracket. Found a vortex site that said put the  "Y" up , then ended with the "Y" down. Does someone have a pic or thread they can send me to. Putting a 1.6 td in my caddy soon and this is part of that process.  Thanks.

• Also, bear in mind that the injection pump bracket parts are what determine timing belt tracking and once removed from the engine can often take a considerable amount of time to replace so the timing belt tracks properly.

•  thanks, that helps alot, there are no more replys to that discussion that should mean that every one is in agreement I will take the taking into advisment and keep an eye on it once it is running agian.

  I had no timing belt tracking problems after replacing the engine mount bracket. Didn't know it's a potential problem when I did it.
