Also if u really don't want more than 300hp the 60 trim t3 is gonna spool nice and make good power for u

this engine/turbo is going in a $200 86 4 door GTI..
gonna be running boosted CIS-Lambda for now, maybe mega-squirt if i can find a used setup priced reasonably cheap..

I don't know which one he has, but my drag car friend has the original CIS in his 8v rabbit and I guarantee it is over 275. He consistantly rips trans out. Usually 5 a year. He does have a turbo off of a SAAB 2.5L
? something like that. At any rate I know his is all stock parts in the engine and injection system, except the turbo and ARP fasteners.

ive heard that USA spec CIS is limited to about 220hp.. limited by the amount of fuel the distributor will flow..
