Call me tomorrow, i'll be holding my bentley trying to figure out my alarm
The fan is most likely drawing too much current. Before replacing make sure that there is no debris or that the bearing/bushing on the second fan (assuming you have one.... you should) hasn't failed.

I believe his compressor was shot
I think his fan is shot. The compressor doesn't draw any real current, and doesn't draw it from the fan control module.

I went through the wiring diagram with him and that was the conclusion.
S, want to chime in here ?
Simple diagnostic incurring about $1 worth of parts.
1. unplug rad fan. turn AC on. fuse blows? replace fan motor. Fuse doesnt blow? move to step 2.
2. unplug compressor clutch. Fuse still blows? need more diagnosis. Fuse does not blow? replace compressor/clutch assy.
