• On the '92 golf.
  
  I just noticed it yesterday, with the ignition OFF, if I click the flasher switch either way all of the parking lights on that side come on, if I turn the key ON with the blinker switch left or right the parking lights go off and the blinkers start blinking and everything is normal.
  
  Any ideas?

• euro car.... in europe when you do that for parking on side of road.. stock thing for euro cars.. not so common for us cars..

  That's a weird feature, so over there if you park on the side of the road you turn one side on? What side do you turn on? The road side?

• grey market porsche good for that.. benz built it into the headlight switch...
  
  and yep good way to kill a batt...
  
  think they turn light on street side (not edge/sidewalk) of where you park...
