How big is your fuel tank? How many litres do you actually use to go 500-550km. What kind or driving do you do? city or highway? What speed do you cruise at on the highway? You can try raising your tire pressures close to the maximum pressure on the sidewall of your tires. Slow down  . You can change the engine oil and transmission gear oil to good synthetics. Grease your rear wheel bearings with synthetic grease. Service the front brakes, lubricate the sliders to the brakes aren't dragging. There's quite a few things that you can do which don't cost to much and added all together could give you a 10-20% increase in mileage.
Good Luck
Peter

ok thanks for all that info, ill check it out
