I'm trying to judge interest in two setups I have.
MTDI
The first powertrain was collected to install in my wifes beetle but the plans have changed:
It is an ALH tdi with a single mass flywheel, MK3 tdi gearbox and an Mtdi pump (10mm). (I used this spec pump on a MK3 golf and I seemed to be in the 120 hp range with a garret t2 @ 15 psi) At the moment it has a VNT15 turbo.
I could include either MK2/3 or MK4 mounts.
HG, cambelt and WP are all good and changed in the last 10K km.
Alternator / PS pump not included.
*I will only sell after bench testing the engine to make sure all is well - I am not interested in problems.
Would like to get $1500cad.
IDI
The second is a 91 jetta 1.6 td with the garret turbo, O2a gearbox from a passat, and a Maxed pump using a 1.9 camplate with Governor mod etc.
Alt and PS pump included, no starter.
About 30k km on the timing belt and Pump reseal.
Was used in a Passat conversion, now parked.
Started well and gave good milage (4.1 l/100km when REALY trying), Was fast in the MK2 it came out of (Would walk away from a V6 audi), In the passat it was similar to the 16v (ho-hum).
HG should be changed as it leaks oil.
Can include Hyd clutch and cable shift box if required.
This complete engine/trans was parked running and will run again easily, but HG should be changed.
Would like to get $400cad for complete engine and trans.

I'd be all over one or both of those motors if you were closer. Shipping to Phoenix would be a deal breaker.

Yeah I'd be all over that too, shipping would kill to Oklahoma as well.
