3 x AAZ type pumps (UK)

Have listed 3 AAZ type injector pumps on ebay.
They are NOS (New Old Stock). Came direct from an MOD contractor whom specialised in Special Vehicle Development.(
http://www.adrianstomcat.co.uk/LSV.htm different vehicle base/design but you get the idea!)
The projects were destined to have AAZs but ended up going Tdi instead. (interstestingly enough i have seen a MOD spec Tdi and the engine number and Injector pump number are also unique codes/numbers)
Have checked pump numbers and they are AAZ based but without idle control same as AAZ. Tech books giving them a working range from 1k-4k rpm.
Never been run/seen fuel/oil other than assembly oil when made!
All injector/fuel lines/ports are capped. These have never left a dry storeroom and have been kept in vented plastic bags in tran***e/storage cases.
£200 inc delivery. If shipped outside UK shipping will be at cost and sent insured/signed for.

Those don't look like any AAZ pump I've ever seen, but I live in the USA and haven't seen many.
They look like 1989-1992 1.6NA pumps with the altitude compensator, but for some reason, they lack the connector rod on the cold-start lever for throttle increase.
I'd be leery. I've seen alot of "NOS" pumps on ebay that turned out to be generator pumps.
If you could provide confirmation of fitment, we might be interested.

it is an AAZ type pump, look at the long delivery valves.. and it has VW stamped right on it.
not gonna say for sure if its AAZ tho, could be off some other engine code.

For all you doubters..............
For starters i have listed them as 'AAZ type' NOT AAZ pumps.Military spec 1.9 Tds were not 'badged' as AAZs. If you do your research you will see that these are listed with VW (not sure if its on ETKA/ETOS though) as 'Industrial Motor' (not generator) 1k - 4krpm.
As previous they were destined for military special vehicles contractor use, the project only being dropped for TDis.I have seen a mil spec TDi in the flesh and it is identical to a AHU in every way except badged as a AH* (

) the pump and ECU on these were also badged with unique VW codes that differed slightly to OE/civvy use.
Other parts i have got privy to come with genuine/OE parts boxes/sticker but on the bottom part of the sticker under the part number it has the contractors name stamped on it where they dealt with VW R+D directly.
So, as per ad.............................
They are from a 1.9Td that was destined for 'road' use and NOT as a stationary engine and were from an AAZ type engine. (was a rebadged AAZ/1.9 Td).
Any more Qs ? Doubts?
GENUINE Bosch/VW - if you dont want to use the pump 'as is' they are an ideal core for rebuild to your spec as they are brand new NOT chinese copies. Happy for anyone in UK to independantly view one to verify authenticity.

they should be different than the AAZ ones, unless someone put AAZ DVs in it..
1.6 lines are not supposed to fit right with long DVs

generator pumps have like 2500 rpm governors..
cheers for the support in the face of the doubters

As previous - anyone who is genuinely interested rather than posting supposition can easily take part number to VW (as i did) to confirm/check spec. I *guess* any half decent Bosch dealer will be able to give details via ID number.

That's a good price on those pumps Elvis. if I had the coin I'd buy one for sure. By any chance have you priced shipping for one of these units to the US? Maybe via the US Postal Service? My zip is 04253. Interested, maybe I can come up with the cash.

Righto , more info. Have just looked on ETOS and done some more research.................
These were fitted to ADE code engines that appear to have been sold 'your side' of the pond
http://www.gex.com/vw-jetta-engines.htmInterestingly enough the engine code (ADE ) is grouped with the AAZ and is listed as a 1.9Td aswell. VW parts programme shows it as being 55kw(74bhp).
I have tried doing a 'screen grab' but pic wont come out big enough!! Anyone with ETKA/ETOS will/should be able to come up these parts/corroborate them.

£38.84 is cheapest i can find so far but thats only insured to £50. Will try and find out extra insurance cost- cant imagine it being too much!
That price is based on 7kg . £32.20 for 5kg. So that sort of figure i guess. Will try and weigh one tomorrow at the post office to get a better idea if thats any use?

I appreciate you looking but that would put the whole deal up around 400 US and I don't have that to drop on a pump right now. Even that price is a deal tho.
