Funny thing happened today. My wipers all of a sudden decided they won't shut of, I can control Hi/Lo speed but can not shut them off or go into intermittent.
Any thoughts on what would cause this..a stuck relay? Bad switch?

Can anyone tell me where the relay is located. Mine actually stopped doing it, so maybe it was just fluke and got wet or something, but I'd like to know so I can replace it if needed. Thanks.

most likely it just got a piece of moisture somewhere.. and it probably will never do it again as long as you own the car.
on my car, its the top left relay, but i drive an 85 with separate fuse panel and relay panel..

My car is quite a bit older than yours but I had a similar problem..... I'd be driving along and the wipers would come on all by themselves for 2 or 3 swipes and then shut off. They always worked fine when I would activate them with the switch though. My original thought was the same as yours, switch or relay, but it ended up being the fuse box. I think what happened is water got in through the worn out grommet for the antenna lead and dripped into the fuse box and caused some electrical mischief on that circuit board inside. Replacing the box cured some other elctrical weirdness I was having in addition to that, but new fuse boxes are a bit on the spendy side so hopefully that's not the problem.

It hasn't happened since, I don't drive the car all that much, right now it's just sitting in the yard, and I fire it up and move it when I need to clear snow, so who knows maybe it will never happen again.
Anyone know where the wiper relay is located??
