Hey i was wondering if it it possable it polish a AAZ valve cover? i think so, but not sure what type of metal it is made out of? Any ideas? Thanks
I am not sure of the metal but whatever it is can be polished. If it is aluminum it is good to give it a clear coat afterwards so it doesn't corrode. If it is steel it is good to give it a clear coat so it doesn't rust.
pretty sure aaz just has a stamped steel valve cover. not that cool to polish..
It's just steel, but can still look good polished up.
I'd probably go a 2 or 3 stage; start with a greaseless cutting compound, then probably black polishing compound and I'm not sure what would be the best for a final polish, possibly the blue compound? Make sure you've got a separate buffing wheel for each compound though!
Once you're done that, a good clear coat would be the best way to seal it up and keep it shiny.
Just paint it with Chrome Spray bomb lol

Or.... Get a can of weathered gold paint (makes it look like old cast gold whatevers). That's pimpin!
Now you've go me thinking!
Doesn't matter, it's just going to be covered in oil from the many seeps out of the valve cover anyways!
Anyone want valve covers to play with? Got tons!
