I have a neuspeed strut bar and the eurosport 4 point lower tie bar and they made a huge improvement in rigidity and steering feel. I don't really understand how that bar works though. That said you could probably get one cheaper from the guy whom designed and built and supplied that bar to bfi before bfi stole the design and started building their own.
I was wondering the same thing because I want one too. The first one that BFI sold was mild steel and there were a number of fitment problems. This one is supposed to be better, but I can't find anyone who has one. I'll keep watching this thread.
I like this unit in addition to my 16V Scirocco lower stress bar and my Neuspeed upper stress bar as it ties in the bumper supports and provides a much more ridgid front engine mount.
Did you add the upper and lower bars at the same time, or one then the other? I ask because I can only afford one support at the moment, and am wondering if I should start with the upper bar or lower bar first? I was hoping to get opinions on the BFI piece and perhaps have that be my first purchase.
Thoughts?
I added the bottom one first as I thought it was most important. It was a huge help. Then the top and now, as soon as I can get a deal, the one you are considering.
Good luck.
I have a 16 V lower strut also, Iam adding a neuspeed sway bar
I hope to move my MK II resv a little lower for the Neuspeed upper to fit.....

Iam not sure who makes that for BFI ?
