I really want to get one for my TD coupe, but not sure if one can fit on the frame rail in my coupe. post pics of what you got and where its at. i really like the idea of having no more boost lag than i already have... thanks!
I'll show you what I did with mine, I'll take some pictures once I get home. The engine bay's a bit crowed so I had to put the cooler in at the back and the reservoir in the hatch (96 golf).
malone did it in his franken mk3

-rodpaslow- your pics dont work

-Zagarus- looks like you got the setup from frozenboost.com? im looking at the same or a similar setup but i would need to mount it vertically where yours is mounted horizontally, do you know if that would still work? i think most setups ive seen are mounted like yours.
mines going into a mk1 engine bay and id like to mount it on the pass side frame frail, but it really doesnt look like i can squeeze it in there. im really trying to avoid a air to air as my t3 already has a good amount of lag.
heres a pic of my engine bay before i finished it up

ive still considered getting a saab blackstone intercooler and mounting it up towards the raintray area subi style. ive heard that since its a low pressure area for air its not the best, but piping would be minimal soo...

any more?
I don't notice any lag with my massive IC and T3 on the 1.9 AAZ. on the 1.6 i built it was minimal. Once you were already driving it was spooled and pressurized. It only lagged when i was stopped at a red light. it would take about 1/3rd of the rpm band of 1st gear before it was maxing out on pressure.
