I don't know about neuspeed, but this guy has some great stuff. I got the MKII kit and need to install, but definately quality components. Not even having it installed I would say this is the best stuff out there. Kit was 162.00 to my door, but I got everything and all the high temp stuff too. Many other kits for less money as well.
This is just a suggestion. BTW I think his site is a hard read.
I did his poly leaf spring kit after my springs and axle were powder coated...
Great stuff, long wait thou...

Yeah the site says 5-6 weeks or something like that. I got mine in 2 though. Outstanding looking stuff and I have talked to a couple guys like Lordverminard and my buddy Troy that have this stuff. They say it is a little stiff in the begining, but have driven several miles with no slop in the shifters yet.
My caddy is running around under it's own power again after I replaced both drive axles.

As I look around the engine bay I notice that an electrical switch on the IP does not connect to anything. Looks like there are two switches like this. One to detect the throttle position at at idle and the other to detect WOT.
Looks like the one to detect WOT is not connected.

Is there a real problem here or is this switch not connected because it's something on the 86 1.6D motor and there's no place for it on the 82 caddy's engine harness?
I don't have either of those switches on my 81, although I do have some hack wiring I don't think there is even a spot for those on the brackets.
Vincent says that those swicthes are part of the upshift indicator light system. No big deal if they are not hooked up
